See how devices, networks, controllers and integrations fit together.
Understand connection pathsAlready have a model in mind?
Search the model number printed on your device or its packaging.
Four checks before you choose
Use the device page and the guide for your intended platform together.
Match the exact model
Check the model number, region and hardware revision against the device page. Similar names can describe different products.
Choose your connection
Open a reviewed guide for the platform you use. An ecosystem logo or catalog listing is a starting point; the guide explains the specific method.
Check what you need
Read the controller, bridge, account, network and firmware requirements. Then check the installation and load limits for your intended use.
Check the features you care about
Look for the controls and readings in that guide. A feature available in the manufacturer’s app may still be unverified through another connection.

A few useful answers
What does “reviewed connection” mean?
Dwelleno has reviewed documentation for that exact model and connection method. The guide includes sources, requirements, limitations and a review date. Documentation review is separate from testing a physical device.
Does “not yet verified” mean it will not work?
No. It means the available evidence does not establish that answer. A missing guide or reading is not a confirmed incompatibility. If you need that feature, check the linked manufacturer and integration documentation before choosing.
Why can a local connection still need an account?
Read the phases separately: setup, everyday control, remote access and updates. A guide may document local everyday control while also requiring account credentials during setup or authentication. The finder’s account-free option requires that condition on the selected route.
What does “no separate device bridge” mean?
It describes one requirement of the selected connection. Your chosen platform may still need its own controller or host. The guide lists those roles separately.
Where are the manuals and exact specifications?
Open the device page and choose Manuals & resources or Specifications. Check the model and revision in the document before following it. Retained manuals include a link back to the manufacturer source.
Are all catalog devices equally researched?
No. Start with the reviewed-connections collection for documented setup paths. The wider catalog also includes devices whose details or connection methods still need review. Recorded prices, seller stock and certification claims need their own checks.
