US KS240: neutral-required single-pole ceiling-fan and light control. Lighting: 150 W LED or 300 W incandescent. Fan channel: 1.5 A maximum, four speeds; the manufacturer recommends a fan rated below 60 W. Use compatible AC pull-chain fans only; no DC/exhaust fans or fans with integrated remote/speed controls. The 1.5 A limit is not a whole-device general-load rating. HTML lists 50/60 Hz while the retained US manual specifies 60 Hz; this entry uses the narrower manual scope. Home Assistant normal control uses local Wi-Fi through TP-Link Smart Home. Setup/authentication may require a TP-Link account and the third-party compatibility setting. Reviewed from documentation on October 15, 2026; no physical-device test, live stock check or independent safety-certification verdict. Compatibility review October 18, 2026: the exact US product documentation and user guide explicitly support Apple HomeKit. The generic TP-Link Matter FAQ lists KS240, but does not bind Matter support to the audited US hardware or a minimum firmware version; the exact US datasheet and release notes do not resolve that scope. Matter therefore remains unverified for this record, not declared unsupported. The US datasheet specifies a standard wall box at least 2 inches deep, not a mandatory 2-gang box; separate fan/light load wires and qualified installation are still required. HomeKit hub and account requirements depend on the function and connection; see the exact guide.
A catalog update is not a new verification. Regional and firmware scope are recorded separately for each route.
